Pinkfest???

Hi,

Will Pinkfest be happening this year? Has the website changed? As of
this morning the site I have still talks about plans for 2005 with no
mention of 2006. I ventured to Chicago in 2002 with not the best results
(I got scared and didn't go out!) but want to give it another go.

Please let us know what is happening.

Uh-huh, it sure will. :)

Nope, the only thing holding it up is the "going 3 times" and the final
gavel swing on the dates. (We need to do that Real Soon Now.!)

Unless something drastic happens, Pinkfest will happen from Thursday,
October 12 thru Sunday, October 15.

Well, Pinkfest is happening. :)

Elena has once again agreed to coordinate the schedule, and I'm sure it
will contain a good mix of old faves and new things. (Suggestions are
welcome, of course.)

I do know that the Janna's Place Open House will be repeated on Friday,
we have a wig vendor who also wants to hold an Open House for Pinkfest,
and I seem to recall that Ginger has agreed to host(ess) a daily Lunch
With Or Without Ginger again. :)

If you (or anybody) wants to attend, be sure you're on the Pinkfest

Let's finalize the dates in order to have a better chance at some really
cheap air fares and also promoting this great opportunity!

It's a "vacation, not a convention", actually you could describe it as a
mini-DLV, since it kind of grew from the same roots that DLV did. :)

As it was pointed out, it has not been updates with the PF 2006 dates,
since they are not officially final yet.

If you're interested in it, you should get on the mailing list, which
is militantly spam-free. Just write to: pinkfest@pinkmyst.com and say
you would like to join the list.

I just forwarded your note to the other list. AFAIC, the dates are as
good as final since there have been no objections to the last call for
comments.

Does that mean that ultimately the discussion about pinkfest should move
