Lynelle,

After church, lets go to lunch! Then we can decide
where to meet in the evening! There is always a bunch
that get together! I just have not heard where yet?

Hug,
Tootsye

>I think MCC at 10AM qualifies as a "time and place". I object only to
>the statement that excludes me as the first person to name a time and

Sorry, I should have been more explicit.

Over the past few days there have been several queries regarding some
kind of a pre-DLV get-together on Sunday EVENING. Most of these have
just come in to the main address but a few have appeared here. In many
cases I responded with a suggestion to name a time and place, and I've
even referred them to the vendor page for suggestions, but Sarona's was
the first to actually do so.

Sorry if I appeared to be ignoring your time and place for Sunday
morning.

I'll be putting notes both about Sunday morning at MCC and Sunday
evening at Freezone in the Large Final Mailing.

Hello Tootsye,

I'm not sure, but I may join you folks this sunday...

Most, if not all sunday church services... esp on 'Easter" Sunday that
I've attended, have special services on that day and some at different
times than normal, to accomodate alot of extra people who go to church
only two times a year...Easter and Christmas.

Also many churches that have pre-schools, Easter Sunday is a special day
that the kids perform in the church service for their parents, which
causes the service to follow a bit different format for the service than
on any other sunday, and alot more crowded.

Some churches may add additional services or services at different times
to accomodate this special day ....and some may include a sun-rise
service somewhere. I'm assuming that there is no schedule change for
the morning service times this sunday?

Also, as a observation, every church I've been to on Easter Sunday, its
not a requirement, but still many wear a more formal attire for this
particular Sunday service than the normally casual attire. Some men
wear formal coat and tie, and their wives wear their 'Sunday Best'
attire that matches in formality with the men wearing suits....like
what is worn at 'High Tea' or what Miss Cleaver (Leave it to Beaver TV
series) wears at home. So for those that go on Easter Sunday, you will
may see alot more kids, and some adults very well dressed.

-Yvonne

Yvonne,

I would say that in most instances you are right on the mark!

I don't expect much of any change at the MCC church in Las Vegas. Almost
all of the MCC churches I have attended, are "denim" congregations. the
last three years that I have attended the church in LV, we have been the
best dressed ones there! Most of the rest wear blue jeans!

If the men dress up at all, I expect it will just be perhaps a tie! I
don't ever recall seeing anyone in a jacket there! There may have been
one elderly woman wearing a skirt there one year, but 99.9% of the women
wear jeans or pants! Since many or most of them are lesbian, I don't
expect to see any skirts! <g>

I would say that whatever is appropriate for normal daytime wear in Las
Vegas will be appropriate for church. I expect to wear a skirt and
blouse or a simple dress!

I will look forward to you joining us! We can get a group and go
somewhere for lunch after church!

Hugs,
Tootsye

Would any of you ladies attending services at MCC on Easter Sunday
object to one more joining you? I would be honored to praise and worship
with you.

Lunch/brunch after church would be great! My only concern is that I'm
changing hotels that day, and have to check out of one by noon and
cannot check in at the Sahara until 3 PM.

Julieta;

I also live in vegas and will be attending dlv with a girl friend -
would like to get to know you as well.

You can email me at rlynne9@earthlink.net and I will help if I can. I
remember my first forays out en femme and the first time I went out
during daylight hours. I took nearly 25 minutes just to get to the
other side of my door.

What a pretty name! Hi. My name is Deidre and I was suppose to attend DLV
but things came up and I won't be there. But I'd like to get to know you
anyway.

Please write me back because I can help you overcome the fear you have
coming out for the first time. I can well remember my first time some 10
years ago. Would you do me a favor? Write to me at erearerare@aol.com?
My spouse does not care for my lifestyle habits and gets upset if I
write to people with mutual interests. Know what I mean? Thanks.

Hugs, Deidre
