Has anybody heard from Michelle after the earthquakes in New Zealand?

The eartbhquake was on the South Island and she lives on the. North. They
do vacation on the South Island, but it is still winter there, so we'll hope
for the best.

Hi

I have. I think I'm OK. Actually the earthquake was in the South Island and
I'm in Wellington at the southern part of the North Island. Thanks so much
for thinking of me at this time though! :-)

As of right now its been downgraded to a 7.1 (still very big) and there's
been no reported deaths. A couple of serious injuries with bricks, rubble,
chimneys falling on two 50 year olds. There have been no reports out of
Darfield which is a town that is right on the Epicentre of the quake so
things may change later.
