I will be coming in on Sunday and Leaving on Sat.

The Sahara says you can't check out on Sat. from expida, what is with
that?

I don't think that is correct, at least it wasn't when I booked (I used
the hotel's 800 #) - I'm in on Monday, and am now leaving Sunday, but
was a Saturday departure until I changed it about ten days ago.

As of this day, hour, minute, and second, the Sahara web site is showing
no ARRIVALS on Saturday the 22nd, no other restrictions.

Sahara usually doesn't restrict check-out dates, but they do have 2 and
3 day minumums (minima?) occasionally.

If Expedia is acting as an agent, they may have the wrong information.
If they are a reseller, however, they can do what they want and can
restrict check-out if they want.

My suggestion is to book directly thru the Sahara web site.

Yes, some of the resellers may appear to be a couple bucks cheaper, but
many of them have nuisance fees that make them a few bucks higher, plus
many of them ding your credit card immediately for the full stay, plus
have cancellation fees and such.

Oh, and if you ever wonder if hotels *REALLY* don't accept check-ins on
Saturday, just walk by any hotel desk on Saturday afternoon and check to
see if people are checking in. :)

I think it's funny to see all of these special deals and coupons from
travel services, then go to Sahara's website and get a better deal. I
have never seen any deal that beat them. They are also good to loyal
customers. We paid almost nothing to stay at Sahara last year.
